4 Days and Counting

We have a project due on thursday. Austin needs to construct the Currituck Beach lighthouse. We have all the supplies and will be working on this project this evening. He is so excited! And can not wait to get it started. I was hoping we would have completed it over the weekend, but never did fine the time. He loves building projects. The last one on the life cycle of a frog is on display at our local library. He sure is proud of that one to. We have been busy with basketball. The season will start soon. They were making 3 point shots last week and Austin was able to make several. The older kids were surprised he was able to shoot those. He is the youngest one in the group. Most of the kids are from the middle school. It is getting colder here and the leaves are starting to change colors. I really like this time of year. We are also working on Austin's halloween costume. He did not want one already made. he wanted us to create one. So he has picked a quite scary mask and we now need to complete the costume.
